Week 1
An introduction to me, who I am, what I do, and how I can help you in this course. Then let’s start with the basic of basics: your camera and how to operate it. I will give a quick overview of the different options and what that means for you. We also cover the who, what, when, where, and why’s of self-portraiture and I give you homework to have ready for next week.
Think of it more as a mini creative brainstorming project.
This is going to be fun!
Week 1
Homework
This week, I want you to start thinking about a project you wish to fulfill during this course. It will not need to be set in stone until the end of week 2 where we will discuss the brainstorming method more in depth, but start thinking of what you might want to shoot. Find time to take out your camera this week and familiarize yourself with it, if you’re not already. Take a few test shots and see if you like how they turned out. If you end up taking one that you really like, I want you to share it with us in the Facebook group!
